Workroom

Chelsea College of Art and Design
In 2007, we began to work with our first foreign university, the Chelsea College of Art and Design. After the visit by the director of their TEXTILE DESIGN section, Kay Politowicz, to our company, she agreed to give an assignment the following September to her students on the overlapping of colors, and then to invite us to evaluate the students’ work on 5 December.
After seeing the work and meeting the 22 students who had participated in the project, we chose two young women, Milena Forinton and Freya Godwin-Brown, to take part in a 45-day internship training program at our company and participate in a mutual exchange of experiences and ideas.
We will continue this experiment, seeking to give the relationship increasingly greater value.
ISIA Faenza
The objective of growing and developing ideas has convinced us to continue along the path towards young people. Therefore, we will begin a similar relationship in September 2008 with Faenza’s ISIA - the ISTITUTO SUPERIORE PER LE INDUSTRIE ARTISTICHE. The experience will begin with a training period, and a possibility of future partnerships with the entire university staff
In this case, the objective is to delve into the subject of fashion and furnishing accessories as well as graphic and print techniques.
Riccione Young Fashion Designers
The objective of our participation in and sponsorship of the Riccione Young Fashion Designers competition is to involve young people to make them active participants in fashion creation and aware of the techniques and possibilities offered by trimmings. This will be accomplished though both an internship training program in our company and helping to create our products – something we have already done with both Salvatore Piccione and Valentina Ferrari – which, with the real lessons, has already begun with this year’s event.
